I've been using ANDIS equipment for 35+yrs. the ANDIS PULSE ZR II 5!!! SPEED CLIPPERS ARE ON MY IMMEDIATE WISH LIST! I've never owned ANY ANDIS that had multiple speeds , but knowing the quality of all of their products...I have no doubt that they will be STATE OF THE ART.

Battery issues

When i first purchased the clippers they worked amazing! Then after a few months my battery wouldn’t hold a charge so i had to get a replacement... I’m having issues with both batteries holding a charge... and it’s frustrating

Always have a backup pair

I’ve been grooming for about 13 years. I was so excited when Andis came out with a cordless clipper. I bought my first one 5 years ago... and have been through 3 since. They have a tendency to have issues with the charging dock, or in my experience, they also just randomly stop working. Which is terrible when your halfway through your day. If you buy these you’ll need to buy back up clippers to keep on hand for when they stop. But when they work they’re wonderful.

One fine machine

I got this unit for a friend of mine who works at a shop they got clogged up with a lot of dander in about a year I took it apart cleaned it out and got it running in one day is a very fine machine and she use it for the big dogs to get around them better

Great at first...

These are great when you first get them, and don’t get me wrong I still love them however, me and multiple people I work with have these and we’ve all had problems with them. They’re great but make sure you have back-up clippers because you might have to send them in to get fixed or replaced.

Generally reliable but heavy

I’ve had my clippers for 3 to 4 months now and while I do like them enough to not use my previous clippers (andis 5 speed clipper) they have some issues. I’ve had two instances where the clippers stop working and I’ve had to completely remove the battery from the housing and leave the two pieces separated for a few hours. After reassembling they do work just fine again though. A few other people I know with these have had similar experiences but are generally reliable. I’ve never had them die on me from battery depletion as I put them back in the charging dock in between each dog. They are a bit heavy but well balanced. If a lighter pair of cordless clippers with this level of power ever hits the market I’ll be ALL over them. For now though, these clippers are worth the money despite their fallbacks.

I want to love them

This is the 2nd pair I have bought. I am a vet groomer so these clippers definitely have the power to get through some matted coats. But they break. Constantly! I have only had this new pair for not even a month and the switch is going bad. My first pair was less then 2 years old and just stopped working. Andis really needs to get it together and fix these issues because it would be the BEST cordless out there. But unfortunately until they do, they are just not reliable.

They’re alright

I love when these clippers work. They are amazing when they do. However, since buying them I’ve consistently had issues with them turning off in the middle of grooming. Pretty sure it’s a problem with the switch. Just recently my charging dock stopped working completely. I’ve had these clippers a little over a year. Andis needs to fix them cause they would be great clippers but I definitely don’t think they’re worth the price at this point especially since I’m not the only one who has had issues.

Hope you love sending in for repairs

Worked perfect the first 6 months. Then randomly while grooming a dog it would shut off, then turn on for no reason when put at a different angle. Sent it to Andis and when I got it back it worked for another 2 ish months then went back to having the same issues as before. Now its past warranty and itd be $100 to send it in again. I regret spending $400 on these clippers
